As many of you perhaps read earlier this week, Michael Eisner (via his new VC company, Tornante) and Time Warner Investments announced a $12.5 million investment in a Peercasting Internet TV startup called Veoh Networks. Today, I was fortunate enough to speak with Veoh’s CEO, Dmitry Shapiro, about the company, its product and some of the features they are developing to become a leader in Internet TV distribution.

To launch to The Media Mavens series, I thought I would create a brief introductory podcast. In this podcast, I introduce myself, as well as share a few of my initial thoughts on what I plan to cover in this series.
